NWD camp on 26th September Mbagathi Hospital
We just concluded the NWD camp on 26th September where we hit our target of screening and treating more than 1000 women. Great success in our first collaboration with Mbagathi County Hospital! The camp was organized by DeckerMed Africa Trust with Rotary Club of Lavington in partnership.
Patients were screened and treated for all gynaecological disorders, common comorbidities and chronic diseases.
With our Clinical Team of 35 MDs, RNs, OCOs, Lab Techs, pharmacists and nutritionists from Mbagathi Hospital, we screened and treated women for cervical dysplasia, breast mass, hypertension, diabetes, HIV and infectious diseases.
We are beholden to Essilor-Luxottica for providing free prescription eyewear to all patients with vision disorder. We screened and treated cataract, glaucoma, dry eye, allergic ophthalmitis, conjunctivitis.
This was just the maiden voyage on a long journey with our new partners.
